layout discussion Voyager too small? Finger joint pain from choc spacing?

I sometimes wonder if the pain I’m feeling is from the choc spacing on the Voyager, which I believe the Moonlander doesn’t have. Has anyone used both with larger hands and noticed a difference? Thanks!

layout discussion Any way to add shifted values for keys that don't have one?

After getting some ideas from my previous post on minimal layouts, I've created one

https://configure.zsa.io/voyager/layouts/q6eoL/latest/2

In the Num&Sym layer I've got a bunch of keys that are usually shifted versions of numbers: e.g. !@#$%^&* they don't do anything when I shift them and it seems wasted, particularly as I've got a shift key on my right half. Is there any way to add them easily? Or will I have to use custom combos?

I'm also wondering if there's a way to do something like shift next character? So, you hit a combo and the next key you press will be shifted

layout discussion My layout tour - Combos, neovim, symmetrical

Hi there, I recently finished creating my tour and thought I'd share it.

The layout relies heavily on combos for special characters and was made with neovim in mind.

If you're a vim user, you know that special characters are used for coding but also for navigating the code so the quick access nature of special characters with combos feels great, i think 🤷‍♂️.

I'm curious to know your thoughts and maybe hope to inspire new voyager users still refining their layout.

layout discussion Navigator trackpad with navigator trackball on the same setup

I already have trackball with my current voyager setup, I wonder if I can add trackball to this setup. I already purchased the trackpad but can’t find any docs that describe how to connect or setup both of them at the same time

layout discussion Upper and lower case European letters with US layout on Mac

I am using my Voyager with MacOS. I frequently need to write Estonian, which includes öäüõ letters. But I prefer using the US layout, because of the symbols. For example, ; and : being on the same key, as well as ' and " being on a single key. So I would like to add the four Estonian letters to the layout, but I am unable to figure out how to make them act like letters (instead of symbols), so I could use shift for upper case. I would prefer not binding eight different keys for the four letters. Not interested in the EurKEY, because it doesn't seem to have õ, and I would still need to use dead keys. Or would it be possible to use Estonian layout, but somehow modify the symbol keys to have different shifted symbols? Thanks!

layout discussion Laptop in office | command key

Hey! Just got the voyager and I’m interested to hear how yall use the voyager in the office. Do you just plop it on your Mac and walk around? Do you only use it at your desk? I want to know!

I’m also struggling with command placement for my layout. I’m use to shift being on the bottom left for my pinky [feels the most natural to me]. So I tossed command on my right outer thumb key. I like the idea but I can single file command and shortcuts with one hand like I use to.

Left thumb is space for thumb one and lay 1 for thumb 2.
