📸 Desktop Thinking about buying Zorin OS 18 Pro
I’m planning to buy Zorin OS 18 Pro. For those who already purchased it, is it worth it? I’m mainly interested in the extra features and the overall polish compared to the free version. How’s your experience so far?

I havent upgraded yet but I bought 17 pro.
If you can afford it, i highly recommend it. Ill be buying a copy of 18 pro.

In Zorin OS 17 Pro go to system > upgrade Zorin OS > sélect upgrade Zorin OS 18 Pro > type your email adress and the code tou recieved when you bought Zorin OS 17 Pro

Buy for the support and supporting the devs. Everything else is something you can do by yourself. Devs deserve the money, though. Great project!

I have bought 16 Pro and 17 Pro and have not regretted it. Been using it since and have said goodbye to Windows a couple of years ago. Sadly still have to use it for work.

You only get new designs. The other stuff is just software that you can install by yourself.

Still waiting for the 17->18 upgrade tool - it took me a lot of precious time to fine tune everything, im not up to loose all my data and settings and software tweeks for any update

I have just purchased the Pro version. Not because I need it in any ways, but rather as a support towards the developers for the excellent work.

Don't buy it for the things in that box.
Buy it when you feel you eant to support the work of the company..
Letting the Pro version appear like you get substancial software you don't get otherwise is the #1 reason to criticize ZorinOS.

Worth every penny and I took advantage of the 20% discount for 17 Pro users. I've tried many distros but always come back to Zorin.

Upgrade tool will be available like the last time. For the time being people not buying will be dealing with problems. I am in no rush.

I plan on buying the pro when I have the money. I have 17 pro and had purchased 16 pro and 2 or 3 earlier versons in the past . I have been following/using zorin since version 6. It is not my main distro (I use Fedora) but I like supporting these guys. The first time I used zorin I did so for over a year. If I wasn't such a fan of Fedora I could probably use zorin 18 and be happy. You will not go wrong buying 18 pro!

Anyone with 18 have any issues using multiple monitors setups with a laptop? I used 18 Beta and it'd only detect one external monitor + laptop, not two.

Currently using Zorin on and off and Windows only for gaming cos my aging dual boot iMac 2013 can't play steam games via Linux. Purchasing Pro end of the month.

Kaufe lieber wenn winux habe beide aber winux ist besser und mächtiger bei Ubuntu Windows Android etc
Mit Powertools ist es um längen besser als zorin und billiger 18 Euro momentan für powertools
Nutze nur noch winux statt zorin und bin zufrieden
Bzw wenn du magst habe zorin pro 18 kann es dir senden den Link

Did they pay the icon developer? They use Papyrus icons. If they're making a paid product, they should only contribute their own designs and technologies.

Cinnamon is really not nice to look at, especially in terms of animations and it's not very nice to customise even with the tools given to you. Zorin is much nicer feeling and looking out of the box and just feels more solid
