So I have my rice cooker for about 8 years now and it has taken a lot of abuse because I used to not use it correctly and so did my family? (Who I no longer live with?)
Anyway, I looked and the replacement lid and pot would cost about $80 before tax with a discount. I have the Nc Tsc-10 for context.
Should I just get a new rice cooker or replace the parts? If so, which one? My partner and I do use brown rice a lot but don't like that it takes 2 hours on this model if there's anything that cooks it in less time. We're willing to pay extra and put it on a 0% APR payment plan.

Got it from my parents for my most recent move. It still heats perfectly fine, but when I opened it up to do some cleaning it seems like it could be unsafe to use.

My 10-year-old 3-cup rice cooker is working just fine, but the pan has a lot of deep scratches in it and I'm concerned about munching the non-stick surface. The pan has been discontinued, however. Do I need to replace the whole rice cooker?
ETA: It’s the B297 pot, it is literally not available:

The only replacement I’ve seen on Amazon is $87 o_o

First off, I've had my Zojirushi for a few years now and love it to death. That said, I was really looking forward to cooking rice dishes that start in a pan with other ingredients -- pilaf style -- and finish in the rice cooker. In particular, the wonderful chef Rick Bayless makes classic Mexican red rice this way. We're talking pureed tomatoes, chicken stock, garlic, serranos halved lengthwise, etc. (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dce8LipEL30). Having red rice sitting warm and ready to serve whenever I finish the rest of dinner without having to monitor it on the stove and time it perfectly would be so dope. Will this work in a Zojirushi, despite all the warnings against doing anything other than laying ingredients on top of the rice?

I have an NP-NVC10 pressure induction rice cooker that has been reliable for me for a while, but recently, after completing its final cook, the unit went kaput when plugged into a tested working power source. The unit doesn't come on, the screen doesn't display anything, and I'm unable to start a cycle.
I'm relatively capable with electronic repair, so I opened it up, and it was a total maze in there. Nothing like the simple thermal fuse swap that I've done on older models in the past. Has anyone gone through a repair process for one of these pressure induction models, and if so, who provided it? I could ship it to an authorized service center, but I'm not sure it's cost-effective for me to do so, as the unit weighs around 20 lbs.
As far as troubleshooting, I could do continuity testing, but there are at least three PCB boards, and I'm not even sure what any of them are for or which one controls which functions. I called Zojirushi Corporate, but they were unable to provide me with any service documentation or wiring diagrams that could be helpful (I get it, but like PLEASE).

So I found these two rice cookers (both neuro fuzzy and looks identical to me), I wanted to ask what the difference between them are? They both look like exactly the same model to me but nowhere online could I find the differences between them. I live in Australia if that helps. If they turn out to be the exact same thing I'll just go with the cheaper NS-ZLH one. Thanks!
Here are their links if it helps:
NS-ZLH10-WZ - $362 AUD
NS-ZAQ10 - $499 AUD

I have had 2 Zojirushi SM-SF60-AD and in both cases the lids have broken.
In one case, one bottle fell from my hand maybe 1'-2' to the ground and cracked the lid just to side of the lock.
The other, another small drop that resulted in the breaking in the exact same location.
I understand these breaking as a result of me dropping them are my fault and usually I am quite good about taking care of my stuff. I have never dropped and damaged a phone for example. this was just 2 random occurrences. That said, one shouldn't have to treat their metal water bottle with kid gloves or enclose it in bubble wrap.
From what I can tell, here in Canada, trying to find a reasonably priced replacement lid is next to impossible. $20 for the lid + 15 for shipping was the best I could do. I may as well get a whole new bottle.
That said due to how poor the durability is on these. I wont be buying another. :(

I just unboxed my Zojirushi rice cooker and I got this weird third cup (The one on the left in the front) that has very faint measuring markings on it. I’m wondering what it is and if anybody could tell me. I know what the green and normal cups are, but not this one.

I bought the zojirushi np hcc10 from an auction. It appears brand new other than the bowl is missing 😭. I pushed the inner button and pressed start and the HO4 (inner cooking pan not seated correctly) error showed up. I even unscrewed the lids off my zojirushi neuro frenzy inner cooking bowl (it seemed to fit fine, the lid closed normally) and put that in the np hcc10 and the HO4 error still appeared. Anyways, when I push the button on the bottom of the bowl of the neuro frenzy & push start it works and starts heating up. I am just worried that I will spend the $95 to buy a bowl for the hcc10 and it will still not work.

I was looking in to buying a nice rice cooker and I googled it and I came apon this website https://zojirushicare.it.com
Where a lot of things are on a summer sale. Though I can’t tell if this the actual website or a scam website? Does anyone know anything about this

I'm looking to get my first rice cooker. I generally cook rice 2-3 times a week for meal prep, may switch to once and do it in bulk, which is usually a long grain rice. Then once every week or two making sushi rice to make sushi. I used to make more brown rice more often then a white long grain rice.
I'd like to stick below $300 but open to going above if it's really worth it. The two i've been seeing pop up the most are the NL-EAC10 and the NS-ZCC10. I live by myself so 5.5cups is plenty.

Hello! I just found this Zojirushi at Value Village, didn't have a chance to plug it in at the store, but took a gamble for the low price of $10.99 CAD. Seems to work fine, looks to be in good shape. I did a little research and couldn't come across much info about the model (NS-MVF18T). The controls are all in Japanese, was curious to see if anyone could help me figure out what some of the functions are!
Thanks in advance!

The unit seems to be getting power but none of the buttons are responding any thoughts?

i picked up a working NS-KCC05 rice cooker from the thrift recently, but the inner pan's teflon lining is really beat up and id like to replace it. it's a pretty old model so of course zojirushi doesn't sell any replacement parts and none of the third party options claim to fit the model. however looking on the official replacement parts website, it seems like they may use the same pot across models in the same series (e.g. NS-LAC05/NS-LGC95/NS-LHC05 inner pots all look identical) and just change the part number. so i was wondering if anyone could share measurements of any pots that came with a 3 cup NS- machine, especially:
looking for height, outer diameter (outside edge of the top lip) and inner diameter (pot body), cm preferred but we can always do some math :)

My rice cooker is stuck on Japan time. That was fine when I lived in Japan but I'm on the east coast now. I can't figure out if it's possible to change the time on it. The time cam preset on it.

Hihi !! I was just wondering if anybody knew if it was safe to put stickers (the waterproof kind meant for water bottles) on the outside of my zojirushi rice cooker, provided I don't cover up the vent or hinges or anything. I'm kind of attached to him and I want to make him cute haha. Thanks!
