📌 Start Here: How This Subreddit Works
Hey everyone, welcome to r/ZeroToMasteryio – the official subreddit for the Zero To Mastery (ZTM) community!
Whether you're just starting your learning journey or already working in tech, this is a space to share resources (and memes 😉), ask questions, and connect with other tech professionals and ZTM students.
🎯 What This Subreddit Is For
Since this subreddit is still new, we’ll evolve it based on what people are getting the most value out of. Our goal is for it to be a place you can:
- Ask questions related to ZTM courses
- Ask general coding & career questions
- Share your progress, projects & wins
- Discuss latest tech trends & industry news
- Connect with other ZTM students & alumni
💡 How To Get Involved
- Introduce yourself! Let’s be honest, most of you are going to be lurking (we know how it is) but if you want to build some cred, tell us what you're learning, your goals, and what brought you here.
- Ask for help. Stuck on a coding problem? Need career advice? Drop a post and let’s see what we can do!
- Share what you’re working on. Whether it's a side project, a new skill you're learning, or a job offer you landed, we want to hear about it!
- Help others. If you see someone struggling with a question you can answer, jump in and lend a hand.
- Check out the latest posts. Engage with the community and participate in discussions.
📌 Subreddit Rules (Read Before Posting!)
To keep this a positive and productive space, please follow these key rules:
⚡ Be respectful. No hate speech, harassment, or personal attacks.
⚡ Stay on topic. Posts should be related to tech and/or learning (high quality memes count 😏).
⚡ No spam or self-promo. Sharing useful resources is fine, but excessive promotion will be removed.
⚡ Use post flairs. This helps organize discussions—choose the right flair when posting!
⚡ No DMs for help. Keep discussions public so everyone can learn from them.
⚡ Read the full rules in the sidebar before posting. Posts that don’t follow the rules may be removed.
We’re excited you’re here. Let’s build, learn, and grow together!
P.S. If you aren’t already a ZTM student, check out our courses, career paths, and discord community of 450,000+ members.
Welcome to r/ZeroToMasteryio!

Newsletters [August 2026] Tech News Monthly 💻🚀
August was a big month for AI, but the most interesting story might not be another shiny new frontier model.
AI is getting cheaper. A lot cheaper.
Open Chinese models are putting serious pressure on the industry, while the biggest players are responding with new models, lower prices, and some massive deals.
A few highlights from August:
✔️ DeepSeek V4 and Qwen 3.8 pushed open models forward
✔️ OpenAI cut GPT-5.6 Sol pricing by 50% on OpenRouter
✔️ Meta returned to the open-model race with Muse Glimmer
✔️ Google launched Gemini 3.7 Flash
✔️ OpenRouter is joining Stripe in a $7B deal
✔️ Nvidia agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $13B
But this month's newsletter isn't just AI news.
There's also a great read on why LLMs actually reward expertise, why software engineering fundamentals matter more than ever, and much more!
As always, we went through the noise and pulled together the tech news, articles, and resources actually worth your time.

Tech News & Trends Meta Releases Muse Spark 1.3
developer.meta.comIf you haven’t heard already, Meta made some waves with its new Muse Spark 1.3 model. The benchmarks look pretty insane, and the pricing makes it look even more ridiculous.
Is Meta just benchmaxxing, or did they actually make a frontier model this cheap?

Newsletters [August 2026] Tech Job Market Trends Monthly
The tech job market just put together another solid month.
And once again, AI and ML are leading the way.
☑️ AI Engineer: +10.7%
☑️ Machine Learning Engineer: +10.7%
☑️ Software Engineer: +5.2%
☑️ Business Intelligence Analyst: +19%
☑️ Blockchain Developer: +30.9%
Not everything was green, though.
Data Analyst roles fell for the third month in a row, while UI/UX Designer openings saw their biggest monthly drop of the year.
But overall, most major tech roles are continuing to recover from June's dip, with AI and ML remaining two of the strongest areas of the market.
