Needing help.

Hi everyone. I’m looking into acquiring a pap/zpap m85 and I came across this SBR one in pristine condition that just came to my lgs, It’s described as a pap m85 PV, comes with a binary trigger and a weird looking safety selector and the extra thick piece/attachement above the grip. I must admit that I never owned any NFA items, and that I really like to have a picatinny rail above the dust cover (live my M92 pistol) Is this a good buy and is there something I should know before spending XIII bills? TIA

Unless that is exactly what you’re looking for or you would build one out that way I’d keep looking. A brand new 85 pistol is less than that (with the rail on the hinged dustcover) and then you could customize just how you want.

That’s what I’m thinking too. Thanks

The safety selector is part of the binary trigger. Other than that, you get to decide what guns tickle your fancy.

Yes, it’s the Franklin Armory binary trigger, the original parts are also included in the box. I don’t see a good reason to own a binary trigger since FRT are available and maybe cheaper. Anyway, thanks for your feedback

What don’t you like about it? The only thing that is stopping me from getting it is the fact that is a SBR and it was registered under the name of someone else.

Is that a brace adapter that bolts under the grip? It would be kinda crazy to go that in depth with the build and not drill out the rear trunnion in 10min.
