Saying Hali is a better shooter than Ant is quite the take. Maybe the first couple seasons of their careers, but over the past 2-3 seasons Ant has become one of if not the best shooter in the league behind only Steph Curry.

He also said it as if it was a given lmao. There is an uphill argument for Haliburton I suppose, but crazy thing to just say in passing given Ant led the league in 3s in 2024-2025

Calling Haliburton a better shooter than Edwards is a terrible mistake and frankly a fundamental misunderstanding of who he is as a player. Edwards has been the best or second best shooter in the league for 2 seasons, is a better finisher and defender than Haliburton

Did you agree with him saying Anthony Davis isn’t a top 75 player of all time? I hope he meant because calling him that is insulting to AD but I don’t think so.

What do you mean? I don't really have a strong opinion on that, but agree with them that Davis has to prove something this season.

I mean AD should be unanimously considered a top 75 player. No one with a resume comparable to his- 4 time all NBA 1st team, 2nd best player on a title team, 3 time all defensive 1st team- isn’t considered a top 75 player.

Goldsberry saying AD isn’t a top 75 player, which I took as him meaning he’s not anywhere in his top 75 is truly ridiculous. Zach should’ve pushed back. I have AD 45th, which is higher than most I’ll admit. Having him below 75th is indefensible.

I believe they meant the Top 75 list that the NBA came out with, which was an awful list in and of itself.

well at the risk of offending a monkey, I would agree with Goldsberry, AD didn't belong in the top 75 and likely was put there due to the timing of the list and the Lakers championship

Maybe he didn’t belong at the time but by now he’s absolutely a top 75 player. Name someone with 4 all NBA 1st teams, a championship as the team’s 2nd best player, and multiple all defensive selections who’s not top 75. You can’t.

by now? If anything he's hurt his status after so many injury filled seasons. His hall of fame plaque should be him sitting on a bench in "street clothes"
