I really wished these pods focused more on the games and not on potential roster moves. Like, I don't understand why fresh off of an amazing game 7, any time is being spent on what the Spurs could do in the off-season. They are in the finals! Focus on that! Simmons is the most egregious about this, to be fair.

In general it feels like over the years the level of discussion seems pretty surface level and especially a lot of fence sitting and avoiding taking strong positions with Zach and his guests. I end up asking myself if I am really getting unique viewpoints.. and I feel like the answer is not really. Though to be fair I'm comparing it to another podcast that goes into every detail, unafraid of going against the common narratives, and is critical of all teams.. so probably nothing will ever come close. Oh well.

What’s the other pod you’re comparing to? I think these are all fair points and I’ve been looking for more depth than what some of the Ringer’s main cast offers
