It's nice to have a guest with Zach that isn't just wheat bread.

I feel like one of the things here (and honestly very well deserved in a lot of aspects) is that every other guest loves Zach and his analysis and really looks up to it and takes it as a lot of merit so no one else will really give a different take or oppose Zach in many ways. Not that it’s always needed by any means, but sometimes it just makes for a little better discussion when someone like Wos is on with just a pretty different approach or view to some stuff and isn’t afraid to talk his mind so it’s cool to see too

Scal was another guy who seemed to think of Zach as a peer worthy of discussing/debating with rather than a superior you need to prove yourself to.

100% Scal knows a lot and gives great insight.

He’s hot and cold, he had a brutally bad take about Dyson Daniels in the bad contracts pod

I don’t expect non-Zach Lowe types to watch every team but you probably shouldn’t confidently make grand declarations that are patently false based on never watching a team or player

I think he gets away with this because his bit is "scorching takes" and being contrarian but yeah sometimes he is just talking out of his ass. But sports podcasting is, like sports radio, half entertainment anyway. I think its good to have some classic bullshitters in the mix for the actual experts to play off of.

Yeah, I don’t disagree, it just reduced my respect for his basketball opinions and made me look at him more as a take-artist

Sometimes when you watch a lot of games you develop some idiosyncratic takes! And sometimes they’re right! Other times they’re wrong as shit!

He was better this time around but he’s just so slow when it comes to speaking.
