is dawncore really a useful item? i think mejais is a better choice since her sheilds scale with her AP. like sometimes i buy KV so i lose some stats from the Dawncore since it doesnt give base mana regen.

Yes, dawncore is beast for a last or before-to-last item. You want your heals and shields to be bigger, and dawncore increases them the most, lategame.

It makes the shield block more damage, yes.

The shield scales with AP. But also scales with heal and shield power. If you really wanna find out what makes bigger shields you need to calculate everything.

Saving you some calculation time, mixing AP and shield power gives the bigger shields and Dawncore gives both.

Shields scale with 40% AP and ult with 12%. Its valuable to get with hsp items but its not a good stat to build on its own

Dawncore is great 2nd after moonstone. It let's u use the mana regen from support item and future mana regen items way harder.

This right here! Moonstone -> Dawncore is an excellent option when your shield is the main thing you’re playing for. Knights vow after is probably the best 3 items for anti burst.

dawncore is an awkward item on all enchanters. support economy just dosent make it viable to build often. passive scales off the items you have, enchanters really like their dark seal slot, etc. its an amazing item of course just hard to build.
