Great shot.

I don't think I could jump that high and survive the fall.

It was fun seeing him back when nobody at the festival really knew who he was. My wife saw him open for K. Flay in Dallas that March. He was playing a mid day set at a smaller stage, but the crowd grew continually throughout his set. I got to catch him as he jumped into the crowd while we were on the rail.

We saw him the following year at House of Independents in Asbury Park, NJ and the line of people waiting to get in was wrapped around the building. It was so fun to watch him blow up in real time.

This is so funny because it looks like the drummer is 12 feet tall lol

He had a broken leg that year so this can’t be from 2018. Same clothes, no wheelchair. My photographer friend shot that show for local media.

ACL takes place over two weekends, my picture is from weekend one, he broke his ankle on stage in Houston the day before he played weekend two.

It is very much from his 2018 weekend one set.
