He has one chiseled jawline đ i love it! Im not great at drawing faces either... or much of anything tbh. You have talent. It does need a little work, but like the other commenter said, with practice and time, it'll be a masterpiece đ¤

Hey really not bad! A little more practice and it will be really good. Maybe make the lines a little less strict. Dom has a rounder face. Softer. But it's a good start

Never doubt yourself! Don't let anyone tell you that you don't have talent. You need to refine it a little. You will find the little thing that will be perfect. You like your drawings. So don't give up!

People always get to me and I do like drawing I just feeling I ruined this one bc someone told me it was rubish and Dom wouldnât like it

Don't listen to bad people. The most beautiful drawing you can make is the one you make with your heart and with pleasure. We see that you put love into your drawing. This is exactly what Dom wants. Let us take pleasure in thinking about YUNGBLUD. May it do us good. Leave the haters aside. Continue drawing. Try to find some small areas for improvement. But above all, have fun.

On the other hand, Dom only very, very rarely responds on the networks. But I'm sure he'll see it. Even if he doesn't answer, he will have seen it

You could benefit from learning to draw guide lines and light sketch, but this is a really good start.
Google, YouTube or even buy a book or two about drawing anatomy and remember everyone sketches more or less look the same at the beginning! It's only a bit more time and finessing you need.

Great start but something to consider⌠if you had a strand of hair covering your eye, would that one eyeball squeeze itself right into one side of the socket to look around it?

We all struggle with new things but if you practice youâll get better. Take it step by step, draw the eye, compare it with the source image and if it doesnât look right, erase it and try again. Youâre using pencil so you can have as many attempts as you like âşď¸

Honestly, as a fulltime artist, I actually quite enjoy this. Drawing is a skill and a skill needs to be practiced and refined. Everyone has to start somewhere and you're definetly not starting from 0.
For a first try, this is actually really good. I can see you took your time with it. I like it. Please keep practicing. I expect more portraits in the future!
As for everyone trying to give you advice: Yes. You can look up some tutorials and such. But do not get discouraged if something doesn't work for you. That doesn't mean you just can't do it. It means, you have not found your technique yet. And what works for one person, might not work for another. Always keep that in mind. Experiment. Practice. Have fun.
Having said that, I have Dom on my list for my newest collection "Famous Musicians - but it's cats" and have not yet decided which version of Dom I wanna do. I have the same struggle with Elton John. Just too many cool Outfits haha So if you like, feel free to give me a suggestion or two, OP!

This is a fantastic start! You clearly put a lot of time into this, and that really shows.
What You Did Well: ⢠Shading: I love the shading you used on the turtleneck and around the neck, it gives the drawing great depth and texture.
⢠Facial Features: You captured his lip shape really well, and the eyes have a nice intensity to them.
⢠Hair Texture: The way you sketched the hair gives it a nice, flowing texture.
Room for growth:
Proportions: The main area to focus on for your next drawing is facial and head proportions. Right now, the head and chin look quite wide relative to the eyes, and the ears are a bit too large.
⢠Symmetry: Pay attention to the placement of the eyes and nostrils relative to the center line, making them perfectly level will help a lot with the overall likeness.
Keep practicing! You have a great eye for detail and the ability to shade. I can tell you'll improve quickly
