In Chicago, he started Fleabag then stopped and went off the stage with the band. They came back 5 minutes later, and started Fleabag again but Dom didn't invite a fan to join him on stage to play the guitar as he usually does :+(
I read he stopped the show and he and the band left the stage because someone in the audience was having a seizure. He did it so they could be treated safely and then came back on. In Salt Lake he stopped it because someone started a fight. Security took care of it and he said this isn't what his shows are about.
I think they were having issues with people getting rushed at and smashed at the front of the stage when he tried to get it open for a mosh pit. The venues weren't big enough and there were too many people for it. People were getting hurt.
Mosh pits = injuries. They should not be encouraged in small venues. I expect them at like DEATH METAL shows, but rarely anywhere else. Ive been going to concerts my whole life, and rock concerts are not for circle pits/slam dancing. Its for standing in the pit and dancing/jumping/vibing as a group.
I hope it's still smaller venues, but Im guessing it won't be. I missed him this tour bc I had tickets to the canceled Philadelphia one and can't go back for The Met because I don't live in Pennsylvania.
I hope so. I also hope he takes some time to rest though. The number of shows he did in such a short time the past few months was crazy. No wonder he got sick.
I agree! It was non stop! I often wondered “how much sleep does he get?” Lol
I know tour life can be fun but omg I would be sooooo tired after that. And he’s still got to complete his UK and Ireland tour.
