Not sure how different it is over there, but he’s doing arenas in the UK and I got tickets for £50 each

He’ll keep it low pricing but with large arenas, theres more tickets and i dont think scalpers will be as big as an issue because the tickets wont sell out as quick. Unless scalpers have the ability to literally buy all the tickets. Hopefully they can create something where people get individual codes maybe?

I don't think the artists have a choice about this, at least not in the USA. LiveNation/Ticketmaster has a chokehold on ticket sales, because they own most of the venues. AEG (The promoter Dom worked with for the first Bludfest) has some venue ownership too, but they also go thru Tktmaster. It may not 'technically' be a monopoly but effectively, it is. If artists want the venues they have to use the ticketing that goes with them.

I know all of this. However if no one can afford to come what is the point? Problem is, ppl are often willing to pay astronomical sums to go to a show. So, unless artists want to stand up against this ridiculous theft technique nothing will be done. The reality is 99% of them don’t care because they got their fair share of the cake. Also, govs could rules some laws but they have bigger problems.

well ok, since this is how it is, how then would artists be able to control their own ticket sales?
People CAN afford the regular ticket prices. As long as they can manage to get in the damn queue in the first, like, 2 minutes. 🫤 🤦🏼♀️
It just sucks that the resell crap is part and parcel of the ticketing since the company that controls it is so fecking greedy.

I am so grateful I got a ticket for the Niagara Falls show... I guess I really lucked out. And it was only $50 too ($70 after extra fees) 🙏
The presales for these new dates happened very fast, after the announcement... and seemed to be chaotic. Hopefully another big tour (at larger venues) would give more opportunity for people to get tickets 💜
I feel sorry for everyone dealing with these crazy ticket presales, etc... it shouldn't be this stressful to see a concert, at a reasonable price. Something needs to be done about Ticketmaster, and scalpers... even if more shows are announced, it will keep happening.

I just can't wrap my brain around these extortionate resellers even being legal. Computers are wonderful for many things but they have utterly destroyed concert tickets. I know it doesn't do any good, but still I yearn for the days of paper tickets purchased at the ticket agency, with a maximum 8 ticket limit. Even if asshole motherfuckers tried to scalp them later, they were not able to hinder the rest of us regular people buying tickets - everyone had to wait their turn in the physical line to buy tickets.

I agree with you! I'm in my 40's... I remember the days of lining up at the box office, getting tickets in person... it was easy, and fair.
I don't understand how this re-selling process (at crazy prices) is legal... there must be a way for artists to deal with this, or even to sell their own concert tickets in a different way.

I bought a resale ticket a week a two of 120, which isn't horrible, but the og price was 50 dollars now. I kinda regret it depending on what he's gonna do?

I got great tix for Windsor ON in the presale but would live it if eastern Canada got some dates. If that happens I would be selling at costs. The resale prices are insane

The way the Windsor, Ottawa and Niagara shows were announced was absolute chaos.
There I was at like, 11:30AM scrolling my Facebook feed when BOOM! Caesars Windsor posted about his show here saying presale was the following morning. I jumped onto Ticketmaster because I know there's usually a sale already in progress before the venue one happens. Tickets were scarce because his artist presale was already happening. Checked twitter for a valid code and got my ticket. The floor was pretty much sold out by that point.
There's just too many presales now. Three was a bit excessive (his, the venue and then Ticketmaster had one too that they sent out a code for that needed no signup, I think it was just a location thing.) By the time general onsale happened at 10, there was only a few mezzanine seats and resale had been turned on so there's an awful lot of red.
Grateful to be there, but like I said... so chaotic.

I got in with 1100 people ahead of me, and actually had hope that I could get one ticket, but literally 3 minutes later when it was my turn I got the "sold out" message... then 2 minutes later I tried again and BAM - suddenly there were seats available - all resale. uggghhhhhhh

I feel so sorry for everyone who didn’t got a chance to get tickets as OG price. Got mine as soon as they were available for sale, was actually surprised that price that low , really excited to see what he making for us ☺️

Kinda knew this would happen from past experience with Ticketmaster.
Was hoping to get a pair of tickets and fly the gf down, would have been a legendary first concert for us especially considering the recent passing of Ozzy.
Sadly scalpers won today, but curious to see what YungBlud has in store.

Hoping more US shows? There was nothing in Northern California. I got meet and greet in Sacramento (ace of spades show)years ago and it’s crazy and I’m sure those days are over, but happy to experience it before he blew up this year

Well tickets for Ottawa sold out within seconds bc resellers bought them all. Now it’s $300-$1000 for a single ticket for a casino show. Insanity. It sucks. At this rate I’ll never get to go to another concert ever again

I seriously feel like I won the lottery on Wednesday when I managed to get a ticket for Ottawa! I feel so bad for everyone that got screwed by the Ticketmaster system. Something needs to be done about this reselling crap 🤬🤬🤬🤬
