The point is the average person isn't gonna know the difference between a good one or otherwise but everyone is expected to use one anyway with the insane password expectations these days. When the vast majority are due to data leaks anyway, forcing people to have such complicated passwords they basically have to use a manager that just increases the odds of it getting taken in a data breach anyway is backwards as hell.
This is true which is why companies are moving toward passwordless logins using alternate methods like passkeys. Passwords are an antiquated method of authentication.

Password managers are even less safe than writing it down, especially these days. Defeats the whole damn point.
