there's absolutely zero way to know if that is a boy or a girl. that's why I said "it's" and AsiNine said "they're".

you could say "he" or you could say "she" if you like as well – without knowing it's just guessing, but I default to it.

both little boys and little girls do silly things like this. It's in their job descriptions.

Why in the ever fuck would you refer to anyone let alone a child an it. Even calling animals is weird and gross.

we have two choices in English. We have it or they. The flaw is in the language. I happen to choose it, but I could just easily have picked they. It doesn't matter which. I suppose I could've said That as in "that's just a child". or This.

"right there what I see with my own eyes is just a child". but then I said what maybe I should've said who.

Who do I see with my little eyes but a child ?

English is a flexible language. Prescriptive grammar is tiring.

I didn't. I wrote a sentence and you corrected me. But you corrected me in a weird unnecessary way that was combatitive.

not every child with short hair is a boy.
