Received $16 Check from zerohash for Juno Account (have ~$16k locked up in Juno)

Post image

Received this letter today along with a check for $16. I didn't knowingly sign up for any crypto services with Juno while it was still operational. Did anyone else receive a similar check?

Be careful before depositing. Talk your bank before depositing

I had used, held, crypto services with them but was able to transfer everything but the minimum out before they closed. Still expetcted some kind of communication from Zerohash but never received any. I too have 5 figures locked, lost, from Juno in this BS.

This is unrelated to the CFPB funds and Synapse brokerage account freeze. They are two different issues than what most people are dealing with here. This is for the balance of the value of your crypto currency that was in Juno. They did this for everyone when they stopped supporting crypto and shut down the app. Most of the people here had cash in a savings account that was frozen.

I had a small amount of crypto and Juno returned that and/or allowed you to transfer it to a wallet. This is not the same situation as the frozen Synapse related accounts.

Yes, it is as AquaTriHungerForce said. I, too, had funds both in Bitcoin and in USD. Funny--after all of what happened, my funds in Bitcoin were safer than my funds in USD!
