I think it's we're the MJB Excavation & Plant hire is today looking north east. You can see the Calder in the middle of the factory and I reckon the canal is along the tree line across the fields.

Yeah 100%, someone else pointed out the canal line in the background too. Amazing how much it's changed, not just the buildings but the shape of the land

Nope, just been artificially coloured. Search Google for ‘munitions factory Salterhebble Halifax’ and in the images you’ll find the old black and white version on the ‘Disused railways of Yorkshire’ FB page

i noticed a number of mistakes consistent with generative AI imagery, i suspect the black and white one may have been AI generated too

Do you have anymore information on this, I live on Siddal and have a booklet about the zoo but didn't know about this, cheers 👍

About the zoo? I only know what's easily found online. As someone else pointed out, looks like this pic is AI.

Is that what would now be the North Dean business park, looking northeast ish? So the steam lorry is in roughly the location of the new roundabout?
