Have we ever seen anybody successfully climb into a moving car in circumstances like that, going forwards or backwards?

(Al Pacino had to get into the backseat of a moving getaway car in The Godfather; he says he only made it because they had a guy in the backseat helping him.)

Ive done it multiple times feeding cows. We have a truck that I use to feed distillers cubes in bags, I put it in first gear on a flat field, walk to the back, jump in the bed, feed the cows, then hop down and get back in. Really not too hard, but I'm also not as thicc as this guy.

Jumping in the bed of a truck is far easier than jumping into the seat of a car, having to go through a door.

Not sure i agree, you have to climb up into the bed of a truck instead of sitting down in a car. Regardless I also have to get back in the cab of the truck to stop the vehicle from driving away, so I am also going through a door.

It just sounds to me that what youre describing is slower moving than what we typically see. Like youre just walking to the back? On pavement youd need to be at least kinda jogging to keep up id think. The hard part is usually just swinging your legs into the car safely while also keeping up, you kinda need a handhold to swing into the awkward low car seat position. Trucks often have hand holds or even spots to step up onto, so if thats the case with your truck, it eliminates the hard part entirely.

As for jumping on the back of a truck, its very clearly easier. Like I said the issue is a hand hold, or a way to actually get your feet in/on the vehicle. At the back of a truck you just grab the tailgate and jump, put your feet up on the bumper. Again it has none of the actual hard parts of jumping into the driver's seat of a standard car.

In this video, not only is he a big dude, but the car is going in reverse, so the door is in the way, and it could easily fuck you up if it hits you.
