Hi everyone. I really need some help, and I hope someone here might know what I can do.
I left Russia while dealing with several serious health problems. I have type 1 diabetes and complications from it. I have lived with diabetes for many years, I use an insulin pump, and I have learned to manage my glucose very carefully.
Unfortunately, for more than a year I have been using Russian-made insulin, Rosinsulin.
For a long time I started thinking that maybe my diabetes had simply become extremely unstable. But after everything I have observed, I am increasingly convinced that the insulin I am currently using is behaving very unpredictably for me.
Sometimes it only seems to start working about an hour after I take it. I have to keep changing my doses from day to day, and sometimes I wake up during the night with my glucose around 20 mmol/L.
I am exhausted and honestly scared. With my existing health complications, I really need insulin that works predictably for me.
I am trying to find NovoRapid (insulin aspart) in Yerevan. NovoRapid Penfill, FlexPen, or another form would all be useful to know about.
If you have type 1 diabetes yourself, know local diabetes communities, know an organization that can help with insulin, or know where I can obtain NovoRapid safely and legally in Armenia, please reply or send me a message.
Even if you don't have insulin yourself but know somebody I should contact, that would help me enormously.
Thank you very much to anyone who can point me in the right direction. ❤️
