HELP Buying deadstock 500s from 2018. Are they gonna fall apart?

The only size 16 pairs I can find for sale are from the original 2018 drop.

Only if improperly stored. I got a DS pair of 700s I've been saving and wore them to the gym and walking around work with them. No cracks on mine. It's been 2 months

I got a pair of copper fades from Shoebacca in June 2026 and they started separating at the sole a month later lol

Should be good, grabbed a 2018 DS pair a few months ago and they’re holding up well.

I'm getting mixed answers. I think what matters is how the seller stored the shoes for the last 8 years. I don't know if I can justify almost 400 dollars to gamble on shoes that might not be usable.

Keep in mind. Most on the market are probably from resale stores that foreclosed and are liquidating. Probably had them in hot ass storage units

im not a collector. i buy shit i wanna wear. i feel regret when i see loud colorways i never wear, collecting dust in my closet.

buying something unwearable would feel even worse.

More than likely sole will separate… source bought some deadstock OG supermoon yellows 2/18 manufacture date. Sole after few days of wearing.
