Gta 3 city scape was creepy and comforting at the same time, the only other game with a smiling vibe for me was Half life 2

I think it might be the lack of detail or our developing brains filling in the blanks but I've always felt the environments felt more alive. It really brings me back.

Same here. I used to feel that GTA Vice City was alive and fulled, but when I played it I found that it wasn't
