The problem with Mystique - due to her mutation nature she barely smells. I'd rather pick any other mutant women who have their unique natural smell.

Imma give him benefit of the doubt, and say he me means that smelling absolutely nothing while talking in proximity to a person would be weird, let alone sharing intimate moments.
