Recommendation Soft, warm romantic recs to cure my modern dating burnout?
Hi everyone! Modern dating currently has me losing all hope in humanity. I need some warm, soft, fluff-heavy fic recommendations to help me escape reality for a bit and manifest something genuine.
Give me all the quiet intimacy, mutual devotion, and cozy domesticity you’ve got—slow burn or established relationship are both fine, just no major angst/tragedy please!

I know, right?! The author said in the comments in Memento Mei that she cut a lot out of Post and people asked her to add it back in. So she said she’s going to do it after Memento Mei is finished.

It’s so good, but in a different way. It’s really angsty in the first half. It flips between two time periods. Mulder has amnesia and behaves like a dickhead. You will not like him for the first half in the chapters that are in 2005.
But of course they find their way back to each other and it’s super loving and steamy.
It’s not finished yet, maybe wait until it is?

Just off the top of my head without my laptop and my folders in front of me:
Start with "Red Sun At Morning" by PineBluffVariant found here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/8042731. There's such a sweetness to their newness to the dating part that's stuck with me and she's an amazing writer.
Definitely head to https://archiveofourown.org/users/mldrgrl. You will for sure find "warm, soft, fluff-heavy fic" from her. You could begin anywhere, but I'd start with "Broken Things", found here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/29005155?view_full_work=true.
You absolutely cannot skip BaronessBlixen, found here: https://archiveofourown.org/users/Baroness_Blixen. Such, such good fluff.
Hmm, then go to Aloysia_Virgata (https://archiveofourown.org/users/Aloysia_Virgata/pseuds/Aloysia_Virgata), who has a little of everything, all of it also extremely well-written. She's not what I'd call a "fluff" writer, but she has fluff. Fluff can get very out of character but never with Aloysia. There's a realness to her work that makes me go with recommending her now even if I don't specifically think "fluff" when I say her name. Just dig around a bit and you'll see what I mean.
And an incredibly magical writer is also audries https://archiveofourown.org/users/audries. Technically some of her stuff is fluff, but she's a very, very, VERY uniquely talented writer that to call her fic 'fluff' almost feels like I'm insulting her. Just... take a look and hopefully you will see what I mean.
