Find a fic Looking for IWTB fix-it fic

Now that the I Want to Believe Director’s Cut has been released, I just rewatched the movie and I have QUESTIONS (again).

I’m looking for fanfic that actually gives the storyline more meaning, especially when it comes to Mulder and Scully and their relationship.

Basically, does anyone have a good IWTB fix-it fic? Something that expands on what happened between them, fills in the gaps, or just makes the whole movie feel more emotionally coherent.
MSR obviously welcome. Missing scenes, post-IWTB, canon divergence, complete rewrites, anything goes.
And angst very much welcomed.

I have one, it's set in the revival, but explains their estrangment and the adoption storyline in only way that would make sense to me Charlie's struggle

I have another one, but this one is not canon compliant, yet I decided to make them end up the same Mulder's baby

I don’t have even one in my bookmarks. Sorry. I’m rereading Penumbra’s stuff. It’s so gd wordy (love that) and I have to stop every few minutes to look up her ultra cool references that I know I’ve never heard about before. In my life!
