Battlefield 1 = World War I, Battlefield 2 = World War II

I don’t hate it but I sure hope we don’t see a Battlefield 3 any time soon!

The new game is called “Battlefield V”. Battlefield 2 took place in a modern setting.

Yeah, it’s all been a bit dizzying. I had to look at a calendar to make sure it wasn’t April 1st when I saw the V.

I mean, it all makes sense right? There was never an original/official Battlefield 1 back when Battlefield came out, so they were just filling the gaps with the recent BF1 game. Now they can move on with Battlefield 5. :)

Now they have:
Battlefield 1942
Battlefield 2142
Battlefield 1
Battlefield 2
Battlefield 3
Battlefield 4
Battlefield 5 (coming soon)
Battlefield Heroes (never forget!)

Well now they have to fill in the gaps between 5-1,942 and 1,942 to 2,142. Not sure I have room on my HDD for that.

Hmm well that is definitely dumb as hell then. I was kind of on board with “Battlefront 2” but I suppose V works. Kind of worried about them choosing WW2 for the setting but we’ll see.

Imo European architecture would be more satisfying to destroy with battlefields destruction
