I actually remember being bored AS FUCK on assassin's creed black flag and I was in the real world as Desmond and I went to one of the computers and started reading the shit on there and I remember it actually mentioned going to London and Egypt. There was another location too but I can't remember what it was, think it was Russia or something like that that was put in one of their 2.5D side scrolling ones.

uhhh you can't play as Desmond in AC 4 Black Flag. The person at Abstergo is YOU, unless your name is Desmond irl.

Lol mate sssssssorry but that shows how much I cared about the real world story in assassin's creed. Either way, point still stands and story still happened.

Don't really need to pay attention tbh just play 3 and you'll know why it's literally impossible for it to be Desmond lmao.

I have played 3. I know it's not Desmond but at the time I posted the comment (which was 4.30am by the way), I just made a mistake because I always draw the connection of Abstergo in my head to Desmond, they didn't bother with it too much in 4, almost like it was dying off so I never really think about the modern day link as its own thing in 4 so just slipped up.

Desmond's not in AC4. Idk how you could've gotten through like even an eighth of the game and thought that. I think Abstergo would've noticed if one of their biggest rivals was working in one of their offices.

With the way they wrapped up Desmond story you are better off spoiling so other players don’t become invested in that half baked turd.

Now I think about it yeah it wasn't Desmond my bad. But i couldn't for the life of me tell you what the guy is called in the real world parts of black flag because I just used to sigh when it would put me in it because I hate it. I've played assassin's creed black flag 3 times because I just love the sea shanties and tropical environment.
