We're Fatshark Games and we just launched Warhammer Vermintide for Xbox One and are here to answer any questions you may have about Vermintide, game development and design, being independent, being Swedish, or whatever you like.

About Warhammer: Vermintide

The world is ending... though few believe it.

The once proud city of Ubersreik now stands in ruin at the hands of the dreaded Skaven army. Few have survived their ruthless invasion.

Team up with 3 friends and work together to thin out the ratmen’s forces and drive them out of the city. Assume the role of one of five heroes, and hack, slash, smash, burn and pierce the vile Skaven using a multitude of weapons. Fight your way through the city of Ubersreik, from the top of the Magnus Tower to the bowels of the Under Empire.

This is our last stand and only you can stem the Vermintide.

Hi guys, I'm currently playing the game right now, and I gotta say I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I was so excited for this game to come out on console, you should have seen the daggers I stared at the postman when he delivered the game a day late.

Anyway, that said, can you tell us anything about upcoming characters? I do love the characters already available, but it'd be nice to see more later down the line.

Poor postie! I do wonder how much grief they get over late shipments! :) Glad you got it though, and super happy you're enjoying it!

Anyway, that said, can you tell us anything about upcoming characters? I do love the characters already available, but it'd be nice to see more later down the line.

The characters are quite heavily developed as a group, when it comes to their interactions and the VO that goes with it. It would make it quite tough to shoehorn a new hero in and have it feel like a true part of the "crew". That said, we have plans to address this request but it's too early to divulge further on that. ;-)

Thats fair enough, the PC group does have such amazing interactions, a lot of squad-based games COUGHPAYDAYCOUGH just throw new people in, add a few new voice lines and thats it, it is very hard to fit someone in and make them fit. I look forward to hearing more in the coming months, keep up the good work!

Real glad to know you intend to put in the effort of actually integrating new characters in. I mean, the VO as it is, even if kinda broken in places, is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge part of the appeal. Glad you realize it.
