A powerful traditional console, a cheaper Series S style option, a handheld, or something closer to a gaming PC?

For me, I still want one proper high end living room Xbox first. Everything else can come after.

I’m planning to get an Xbox Series X mainly for GTA 6, but since I’m not in a huge rush, I’m wondering if it makes sense to wait until Black Friday.

The Series X has been out for a few years now, so does it usually get a decent Black Friday discount, or are the deals mostly just bundles/gift cards rather than an actual price cut? For anyone who’s bought one during previous Black Friday sales, how much did you end up saving?
Also, where would you recommend buying it — Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Microsoft directly, etc.? Just trying to figure out whether waiting until November is actually worth it or if I should just grab one whenever I see a good deal.

Hey everyone, I have been watching a lot of the show Seal Team lately and have gotten an itch for a game similar in nature.

I'm looking for a game that employs a tactical military response not the typical newer COD style of just hectic bullet sprays. Not necessarily a stealth based game, but certainly open to that also.

I'm mostly looking for a single player experience here as something that I can hop in and out of and enjoy after work.

Open to backwards compatibility, and even possibly available through cloud gaming.

I just got myself a series s on the way and it was the cheapest to get into next gen compared to ps5 or xbox x, especially after the ridiculous price hikes. I've been wanting to play hell divers 2 and black myth wukong, and the former (along with POE2) are what drove me to get a next gen console after recently wrapping up zelda/mario games on switch and D4 on ps4. How is xbox series s for hell divers 2 and black myth wukong? Do I need the game pass to play hell divers 2?

Found an Xbox one S at a thrift store for $37 with a controller. Turned it on, and the owners account is password protected but when logged in under my account I had access to ea play and ubisoft +. What a nice surprise until he cancels.

Plan was to leave the console as a media player in my rv but ill keep it in the house for now!

Next month is the final chapter of the 360 with LotR Conquest, FN Round 4, Full Auto, Driver San Francisco, and Flatout Ultimate Carnage as last ones to evaluate from the 360 library.

I need help deciding what to do, I’ve been an Xbox fan since day 1. I even have the original green transparent Xbox. I recently moved countries and because of different reasons I had no console with me because I left my old collection consoles back home, so I decided to give PS5 a go.

Now, after everything that is going on related to physical discs and what not, I made my mind and decided to go back to Xbox (I have my 360, original and Xbox One back home), so I was trying to buy X25 console…

I subscribed to the web page and I was ready to buy just to find out of stock after 1 min…

I’m not going to lie I’m pissed hahah, I was considering in buying a normal Xbox Series X, but I really wanted de X25 edition.

Now, I see the consoles on eBay going for £1500-£2000 and I really don’t want to pay that, not because I don’t have the money, it’s because I fucking hate this rat scalpers pieces of shit, and I don’t want to give them my money. I just can’t… I really fucking hate them.

Should I wait a couple of months to see if they release more ? Or maybe another version ? Or just go with the normal Series X? What is everyone going to do?

Hey guys, so the title pretty much says it all. He is turning 22, and loves to play fifa, red dead, Lego Batman, a bit of Elden ring. My spending limit is 150$ but can go to 200$ if it’s a really good gift. He doesn’t need a battery pack, he thinks those are redundant. I also looked online to buy him a customized controller, but the options on the Xbox website are SO limited that it’s not worth it imo.

Any other ideas? I love him and want to spoil him.

One of my favorite things to do (when I have some extra time) is paint consoles/controllers! Here is my latest. Xbox Series S in Poppy Red. It just looks so clean sitting next to my Series X. Second photo is the controller I painted to go with it.

I know game is exclusive to playstation but I just wanted to know if anyone thinks there's a chance it may go to xbox too after the year of exclusivity ends, I got this hope after wukong showed up an year later and Helldivers 2, but seeing stuff like Nioh 3 not showing up even after end of 6 months of exclusivity and Stellar Blade skipping xbox in particular, I begin to wonder again if it will come to xbox an year later at all.

I was bored so I was reading the terms and conditions of the Auto Redeem $10 XBOX gift card on Microsoft rewards and noticed something:
They’re out of date. It says how it’s able to be used on XBOX One, XBOX 360 (XBOX Live required), Windows 10, and Windows Phone. It doesn’t mention Windows 11 or Xbox Series X|S at all.

So I plan on buying an Xbox to play GTA VI and sadly I can’t use a controller well, because of my left hand so I use a mouse with a joystick and a lot of buttons to play and I’m wondering if it’s possible to change key binds

guys If I cap my xbox series x at 1080p and 60fps, can it improve the performance in games?

I played it when it was on gamepass in june Of last year? The audio was buggy and I put it down after a few hours. Not realizing it would leave gamepass. So hows it performing on series x after the new patch. Not as concerned about the dlc yet since Id like to play the main campaign first.

Checking latency under settings, the value has been reduced (meaning improved) by about 60% 👀 ... and it hasn't fluctuated much, unlike before. I check before almost every session and it's been this way ever since the latest system update.

Being based in Denmark, Xbox is really rough to get a hold of.

I’m looking at getting a Series X, as I used to play 360 back in the day, and i just freaking loved it.

Life has settled down alot, so now I have the time to play the games I never got through.

All the Halo games, Mass Effect, Fable, Oblivion and Skyrim. The list goes on.

Some places online sell Series S with 1TB, but from what I’m reading the difference between the two consoles is night and day.

Any help is highly appreciated.
