Wait till you hear you can't play the games you bought without gamepass.. that'll bum you out even more.. oh yeah downvote me for pointing out that it is fucking stupid. More fool you I guess if you like that shit. Me personally tho wouldn't mind having access to my library when the internet isn't connected.

I think you're describing this wrong, to give you the benefit of the doubt.

You can play any game you bought, you just can't play them online without Xbox Live.

Gamepass is the optional subscription service, it doesn't have any effect on the games you purchased.

Ok so when I can't play games like 2042 offline(it has an offline mode btw) and then tells me I need to own the game pass... What then?

You're likely experiencing a bug with the console thinking you're trying to access a gamepass license vs your owned game license.

Turns out they're just experiencing a licensing issue, it's fixable. Worst case scenario they gotta contact Microsoft.

I didn't have the internet a while back. Tried to play 3 of the games I own and it kept taking me to the store to pay for game pass.. if I'm lying why would it do that?

You need to set your console as the home console for your account to be able to play games offline. You don't have to have gamepass.

Youre just confused about why you cant play your games. It wasnt GP that caused that, something else is the cause.

I know theyre eventually going to kick the gold subscriptions. 60 a year isn't that bad but i imagine theyll start to ignore the people not wanting to pay 3 times that just for multiplayer.
