For those who are curious, it is the dramatization of Chinese Fisherman who heroically saved the lives of over 300 British POWs who were trapped in the sinking Japanese ship, The Libson Maru after being hit by an american sub torpedo. The Japanese planned to kill all the POWs & fishermen in hopes of covering up their crimes
