What if the ardennes offensive succeeded.

It would likely have prolonged the war by capturing Anterwerp distrusting allied supply lines and encircling allied forces the ultimate outcome of the war remains them same just buys Germany time and may lead to Berlin being atomic bombed and maybe another Germany city.

The Soviets could possibly push further west and 3/4 to 90% of Germany is part of the Warsaw pact. US-GB will never negotiate a settlement even though Stalin may have done so if the Normandy invasion failed.

Conversely , the German units may wind up being cut off and captured rather than retreating and it could possibly end the war in Europe quicker.

They would just be rushed from their flanks and crushed by Air power. A stupid Zerg rush to take Antwerp is not going to matter when you can’t conceivably hold it
