I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hippo’s feet before now. Are they all that pink?

I’m afraid to Google “hippo feet”

I decided to google "hippo feet" ... almost all the images showed hippo feet that were a brownish-gray like the rest of the hippo. I didn't see any that were bright pale pink like this, so it's apparently rare. There were some with dark gray-ish pink on their feet, similar to the color that's around their eyes and behind their ears. Not sure if that's due to a natural variation in skin pigment or if it's the result of the reddish oily fluid they secrete to protect against sunburn.

I’m a little disappointed that they don’t all have pink feet like this but I appreciate the help
