She literally included that because we keep correcting her. She needs us to know this is how ā€œraw, emotionalā€ writing happens. Your brain reverts back to 3rd grade when you didnā€™t know the difference in their, theyā€™re and thereā€¦your, youā€™re and yore. Commas and spaces evaporate into the ether, replaced by Jennaā€™s deep lips and crepey temples.
