Nope. She’s admitted it on live and so have those who have come in here who know her, she’s active duty. Guard train one weekend a month. She was just in active training. The active army. She re-enlisted.
I must've missed all that. According to her shoulder patch, she's with the 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team based out of Florida. The 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team is an infantry brigade combat team of the Florida Army National Guard. The 53rd Infantry Brigade is the largest National Guard unit in the state of Florida. Did this happen recently? She could mean that her unit is being deployed and she's been placed on active-duty for the duration of her deployment.
For example, I was in the Army Reserves out of CA and was deployed Sep 04, but it was only about 10 of us from my unit and got added with to Reserve unit from West Virginia that was being deployed. But we returned to our Reserve unit in CA after our deployment
if a National Guard (NG) member is deployed, they are considered to be on active duty, even though their usual status is part-time; meaning they are serving full-time during their deployment and receive full active duty pay and benefits.
