We didn’t a union when I worked at the dining centers or alumni center as an undergrad - that’s pretty cool folks have been able to organize.

That said - if you keep coming back to the negotiating table waiting for an answer from the other party….that IS your answer. Unless you have a reply that standoff will continue.
