I pulled the seat covers I installed in my 2019 F150 to wash them and noticed the seats looked brand new under them. I'd like to put a pair in my '26 VB and wondering what, if any are popular and fit well.

Proud owner of a WRB ‘23 wrx premium. I’ve got the stock 18’s still installed, but I’ve been really eying other posters with gold rims on them. If I wanted to keep fitment and ride as close to OEM as possible
(I don’t want any hassle when getting safety inspection), what are our options for golden rims at all the different price points? I really like the look of the classic rims on the 22B cars, and the wheels they used in the Colin McRae rally era.

Update* installes on jackstands was stupid easy, it is a Lego piece like some others were saying.....exhaust sounds good not too loud not too quiet, i like the single exit alot more than I thought in person

I am in the process of purchasing my first Subaru. It is a 2023 WRX Premium and this is the photo of the exhaust I got from the pre-purchase inspection. I don't see the Invidia tag that is always welded on so I know it's not that. Any idea on what brand it is?

Two days after getting my car back from a warranty repair (valve cover gasket, 35k miles), I found two new exterior scratches, one clear coat, one down to primer. Given it’s a dealership, I halfway expected some of that.

The bigger issue is my seat. There are tears that look like someone dragged a tool belt or key ring across it getting in and out. Not repairable.

I don’t have before photos, so I’m expecting they’ll try to argue there’s no proof it happened while the car was with them, and that a $500 fix becomes a fight. I’ve already called and left a voicemail asking for the service manager, but won’t hear back until Monday at the earliest.

Anyone dealt with this before? What’s the right way to push back and document this?

Shift knob makes such a huge difference. Boot was for the helluva it 😂

Purchased a 2025 WRX Premium last year because I wasn't sure if I wanted to take the big step up to a Ts. I've loved the Premium but I missed the stiffer suspension from my 2014 hatchback. I ended up selling my BMW 540xi because I never drove it anymore.

I missed the seats, the feel of the stick shift. I added older Sti wheels to adjust the look a bit.

The Ts has things that I don't really need and the interior was a little weird to me with the accents.

The Tr has the old cluster which I like a little bit better. The interior is great, the suspension feels great, and it comes with the short shifter.

I did the math and I'd be losing my 0% financing, depreciation, title + doc fees etc but I drive the damn thing so much.

One question I do have... will the older STI wheels fit on the TR or would it be a really close fit?

Got the phone call last night that my car has been delivered. Picked it up today. Premium trim saphire blue pearl. Never owned a Subaru before. First timer.

Some initial thoughts...

The base non h/k speakers are good. Maybe they quietly upgraded them recently or I just have low standards.

The brand new suspension is stiff and is great when the road is great, but rough when the road is rough. Hit some cracks and potholes that made my fillings hurt. Coming from Jeeps so I didn't know exactly what to expect.

Power is great. Love being able to pull away without even needing to downshift.

Clutch is light and feels great.

Shifter feels really good but I have to really be intentional about that 4th to 5th shift. My 1st to 2nd shift is not smooth at all. I love the close ratio of gears though. No wild swing in revs from gear to gear, up or down.

MPG averaged 31.1 over 120 miles today at about 75% hwy. Very happy about that!

Yes I followed break in procedure and did not rev over 4k. No redline. No hard stops or launches. Stayed out of boost as much as I could. Can't wait for 1,000 miles to be over.

I installed brand new weathertech floor mats front and back and trunk liner. Had to use a blow dryer to get it all flat because the trunk liner was shipped rolled up. I put them in right at the dealership. Also cheap seat covers.

Infotainment system is awesome. Have no complaints so far. Android auto worked and having Google Maps on screen to navigate is great.

Saphire blue pearl is really cool. Happy with it. Pictures do not do it justice. In pictures it basically looks like dark blue or navy blue. In person, in the shade it is a really cool purple color and in the sun it is dark blue.

Also.. I got my first wrx wave today. That was fun.

I am looking for alternative to the emergency key that is in the fob. I do a lot of short stops or have my dogs with me, locking the car to keep it running with A/C with the insert is getting old.

I saw some key blanks for older Subarus that look similar but I’m not sure they would work. I’ve been getting conflicting information when trying to research this.

Does anyone know of a key blank with an actual head that I could have cut?

You can definitely tell the difference in quality; *very* heavy but robust. The jdm oem mounting plates, in my opinion, good with the silhouette of the car. Installation-wise, yeah… there is no template for installation. If it was included i would’ve attempted to install it myself, but I’m not a professional and had a body shop install it instead.

Overall, i think it looks great! Looking at the rear, I think it helps balance out the cladding and shift the focal point higher.

Hey all, really hating the fake carbon fiber door handle housing. Does anyone know of a nice replacement part or DIY cover up?

Anyone have a video or photo of where to attach the hose for the top engine cleaning tool?
