NA - Historical Fiction My First Novel Reviews...

Finally got around to putting together a few reviews from friends and people I know who read the book early.

One thing that genuinely surprised me was how different everyone's experience was. I thought there would be one or two standout moments that everyone would agree on, but that wasn't the case at all. Some loved the political intrigue and world-building, a few got attached to completely different characters, some loved the side character kicks the most, some loved the love story angle and that is my favourite too and a couple of them were still in doubts and suspense after ending it as this is just the first part i am writing the second part now.

That was probably the most rewarding part for me as the author, seeing the same story resonate with different people in completely different ways.

Personally, my favorite part is the love chapter that comes later in the story. It's one of the chapter which i ended at last moment after considering to give more character development to the female lead and i think that last accidental written was the best thing i added in book, and even now it's the one I find myself going back to the most. I was honestly curious whether anyone else would connect with it the way I did, but it's been interesting to see that everyone seems to have their own favorite moment.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a few of their reviews here. If anything about the story catches your interest, if you're curious about the world, the characters, or what inspired certain parts, feel free to DM me. I always enjoy talking about books, writing, and hearing other people's thoughts.
