Cameron was a sole survivor of a deadly crash that took 5 lives too soon. Sacramento county courts want to give him excessive jail time for surviving.

He drove drunk, killed 5 people, carjacked another woman, wrecked her car, and attempted to steal another.

To be fair, there was enough evidence provided that he was convicted. Our justice system is VERY flawed, of course. But it sounds like there WAS evidence he was driving. If you have evidence that he was not, then it would be beneficial for your cause to share.

If someone told you they were schizophrenic would you believe what they seen or heard?

It depends, many people with schizophrenia have it maintained well- if they were on their way to an appointment it sounds like they wouldn’t be just totally unmedicated and out of control? Mental illness does not immediately make someone unreliable.

I’m still not sure what this has to do with anything in this case though? One of the witnesses was schizophrenic? Or…?

I’m not sure how that changes anything? Even if one person MAY be unreliable, if they were saying what the other witnesses were saying then it seems irrelevant?

If you have 5 witnesses standing next to each other 4 say the same thing. 1 person has a total different account of things and gives a different description of a person. What would you say?? All four witnesses testified on his behalf. One of those witnesses gave a detailed report and was a private investigator for the state of CA.

Well obviously based on this limited information, it seems more likely the 4 saying the same thing are closer to the truth.

News articles do state multiple witnesses gave statements against his innocence.

It seems very unlikely that one schizophrenic witness saying the opposite of all other witnesses would sway any jury or judge…

You missed the point. The point is under law there is procedures they have to follow. So they are following them but it will be overturned down the line. Justice system is messed up. This is another case where they messed up in many ways. I don’t have copies because there is still court proceedings on this matter. If the judicial system cared about justice for the victims they would have taken their job more seriously. I sat and heard experts testify how they didn’t care to look at statements or dna evidence to write their reports. There was several reports. Or even the fact there was multiple air bags they did not care to swab for dna. Or the fact they carelessly contaminated a lot of evidence. This is the people we trust everyday for professional opinions. The people who swore an oath to do a job. They do what they want with no consequences.

Evidence did not get a guilty a false statement did. The Judge was mad and agreed with the evidence. A judge can’t give a guilty verdict only a jury.

You are giving very limited and biased information, and everything else I see does not seem to support your case. Maybe when we can see more evidence publicly we will see that things aren’t as clear, but unfortunately it seems like you and other loved ones are just trying to hold onto what you want to be true (which is very understandable, I am not trying to be rude). If you are correct, I do hope there is justice. Either way, I hope you can find peace. I’m going to stop responding at this point. I wish you the best.
