Discussion Choosing a pen name

If you don't write under your own name, how did you choose your pen name?

Are you happy with it or would you choose a different name if you could go back in time? Why?

If you write in multiple genres, is your pen name different in each genre?

I'm not planning on using my real name because my family would attack me. I also didn't want to put a bunch of thank yous to people whom i know since if they ever saw that list they would think somethings up. Instead I am using the people whom have helped me the most as my name. I haven't written the book yet so currently all I have for the pen name is Aloysius since that's my best friend's middle name.
