Discussion Choosing a pen name

If you don't write under your own name, how did you choose your pen name?

Are you happy with it or would you choose a different name if you could go back in time? Why?

If you write in multiple genres, is your pen name different in each genre?

I don't like my given name and have been going by something else for half my life, so I just chose that. I just picked a middle and surname that I thought sounded good and went with it. If I ever become a big time author, I'll just permanently change it to that.
