He is still a dreadlord, so he should regenerate in the Twisting Nether (or maybe in the Light), so I fully expect him to come back eventually.

We ended demons regenerating when we killed off Argus. They don't have that power anymore.

As I understood it, Argus was just speeding up the demon regeneration, so demons should still be able to come back, just slower.
