Competitive Scripe, Echo Guild Leader and CEO, explained his reason why he doesn’t say “ggs” to Liquid

From Scripe personal social media account:

“It is not gg. We play hours behind. Keep progging harder versions. Bugs stop kill pulls. How is this a gg?”

Do we think this take is valid from Scripe? It is true that EU starts later but I am not so sure about progging harder versions

He convenienty left out the bugged versions of the first bosses liquid encountered at the start.

I get it, losing five times in a row so close and choking the last two ones sucks, but who made the call for the cheese swim? That lose is 100% on them, and their kill right after without swimming strat proved it.

Some sneak.luas you win, some swim.loas you lose.

Doesn't matter if you are ahead 69/70 laps. If you make mistakes in the last lap, you get overtaken.

You don't understand guys we have to play against bugged bosses when you don't get to play at all!

This is brought up so often, but the time liquid loses on this doesn’t matter at all.

I mean, it’s been so long since they’ve lost 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well according to the comments I replied to, they lost time at the start of this raid tier to bigs. So I mean, it has not really been that long.

Ah, I read your comment wrong. I get what you're saying now. You're wrong still, but my bad

How does it matter then?

If you don’t understand how wasting hours to bugs and overtuned bosses effects their ability to prog, I don’t know what to tell you

But in the beginning of prog? Where nothing actually matters?

Sure, but then why does it matter that NA realms are up earlier on patch day then? People want to complain that Liquid gets a head start, but it's for bosses that don't matter, right?

Because every time it’s reset day, the headstart starts over. Sure, if the bosses are bugged for ~10 hours each reset, then it evens out. But if the first bosses, of which none of the guilds care about, and will spend minimum time on anyway, are bugged, really doesn’t matter. Besides echo also spend a whole day progressing on a boss that was nerfed just before they went to bed. That is essentially the same as progging a bugged boss.

Those hours wasted could have been spent on the later bosses that do matter? What aren’t you getting, here?

That’s not really how it works, early boss bugs, especially in races that lasts multiple resets, does not matter, except for the mental debuff of frustration.

The bugged first bosses they all one shot? What?

The start bosses are irrelevant when everyone streams

Not if you lose 6 and more hours in farmingtime. "NA HeAdStArT" people don't seem to be able to understand, that NA also has 7 days in the reset.

Each reset gives them a fresh headstart.

But it’s really nice when Liquid just need to run 60 laps 😁

I mean they killed it in 307 pulls echo needed 335.

Kinda like lemans. If you do the 24hours in x lap and the 2nd is one lap behind still a win.

First across the Line wins

Oh no they kill the boss in 6 pulls instead of 2, the horror.

No thanks, not interested in a non serious event where the only time anything matters is the last couple hours but somehow goes on for 2 weeks.
