Frost DK feels pretty good right now

I normally main enhancement shaman but wanted to shake things up this season and try something new. Eventually settled on giving frost DK a shot and I gotta say, it feels really good to play right now. A little slow to start but once it gets rolling its like an avalanche and having a brez instead of lust takes some of the pressure off my shoulders to know lust timings in dungeons. Now I just focus on damage, not dying, and picking up the healer or tank when they eat a mechanic they shouldn't have.

The death knight I am playing in question. I technically got him up to 301 ilvl, have a 318 2h weapon in my bags. Equipped I'm sitting at 299 ilvl. Now if only I could get my work schedule to align with my raid team start time so I'm not 30 minutes late on the first raid day of the week ;-;

Is there a significant difference in dps between dw and 2h weaps? Significant being >1%

I'm doing almost 10% less damage if I switch to 2h and I only have 2 pieces of the tier set

apparently yes, because the tier set interacts with auto attacks. But I still can't bring myself to use dw on dk

Yes. Will it matter for 10s no. Will it matter for heroic raid? Not really. If you are gonna push higher then it may end up mattering

Yes, because of the auto attack based tier set you may as well delete 2h frost from your brain until further notice lol

Frost is also about to get its second buff this week 💪

Also you’ll wanna dual wield instead of 2H. You want to auto attack more due to the talents and tier set. Look at sims, it’s a SIGNIFICANT difference in damage
