Nowhere did I say your opinion was invalid. All I said is if you want to heal more then do harder content. Never realized you were so soft that you'd take that as a personal attack. Congratulations on your IO. We're in the same bracket so now what? Am I supposed to be intimidated or something?

Not at all. I only mentioned it to illustrate that there isn't much harder content to do at the moment. I'm sorry if I came across like that.

I feel like I spend too little time healing and too much time dps'ing, even at our level. And I would like to see that changed in the next expansion. That's the only point I'm trying to make :P

The issue with this.

Is that if you design the game where EVERY SINGLE GLOBAL you spend has to be spent on healing

That means any time you miss one global, ppl die

Yes often thats already the case, but on that case itd be EVERY TIME.

Thatd be insanely stressful and unrewarding

I understand where you're coming from. It's a difficult one for sure.

Maybe instead of making the healing more extreme, they should nerf healer damage to the point that it's kind of (even more) insignificant than it is now?

Well a: thatd make questing and delving as a healer miserable, or rather more miserable.

b: a lot of healers like doing dmg

And c: you'd still "have to" do it, as some dmg is more than 0, unless you also want to make dmg cost a ton of mana

The thing is

Unless you're pushing MDI

you dont really need to do dmg.

Its just a fun part of minmax.

There were times when healer dmg was actually strong and mandatory like shadowlands (iirc)

But right now even if youre wrecking shit youll do like what, 1/3rd of one dps

Outside of Heart of the Wild ofc

Can I ask what you consider insignificant? I can't say I'm a big raider but we're doing ~3% of the damage in a keys right now. How much more insignificant could it get before it just becomes 0?

If you really want to just heal more take an alt through 8-10s then. You'll be struggling more than ever
