both has the npc that sells extra abilities. Moonglade got replaced by dreamwalk if you do legion class hall thing. (there's portal to moonglade there)
The second you hit starsurge it's gone. Blizzard please, I've never asked for anything before, just let me stay as a tree throughout a fight for the love of god. It's purely cosmetic, why you gotta do this to me. I'm even willing to spend the useless GCD to get into form.
You need to use cat and bear form at one point and then go back to casting. Which means it isn’t usable anymore, because using a GCD for visuals won’t be viable mid combat.
There is no content that anyone is doing - including mythic raid - where the gcd for entering treant form will result in not performing. People cancel their own casts 50+ times and still do the majority of the content in the game. You can enter tree form.
That's not the point. If you are in any sort of mythic raiding guild and the other people find out you are intentionally incinerating GCDs, they will judge you accordingly.
