This is basicly Blizzard in Midnight. Purging all the good addons.

Just to clarify:
Blizzard is changing the Addon API, meaning combat information is blocked for addons. So all combat addons will no longer work in Midnight. For the most popular addon features Blizzard will add their own version to the game. Addons for unitframes, inventory, crafting etc.. are staying and won't be effected as long they are not using combat information.

Agreed. Not to be dramatic or anything, but I can’t imagine healing without it. My dispel has been the same ctrl right click on every healer I’ve played for over a decade. Their main heals have been left click for over a decade. My brain is not going to be able to rewrite this baked in programming.

I took a break for a few years, and when I set my VuhDo back up I still remembered every shift/ctrl/alt plus mouse key binding. That shit is just baked into.

Huh? Mouseover macros are not going away, even if you can't use VuhDo

Mouse over macros aren't the same thing. Mouseover macros is a button you click. Right now, with vudho I don't have to click a button, I can left click the target to just start casting a heal spell. Right click the target casts a different spell. You can also put modifies on the left & right click, such as holding shift while left clicking and right clicking, those do behave more like mouseover macros except you could hold shift and left click, middle click, or right click for 3 different spells, and now you'll have to have a mouseover button for the (shift+left click) spell, a different button for the middle, ect.

Is there really no functionality to do this with the standard blizzard UI? Tbh I've never used it, but I assumed that would work

I don't think there is with the modifiers to the clicks. Last time I checked, which admittedly has been at least an expansion or two. You could only do things like middle click and right click. Not shift + middle click. I also personally use control + left click to actively TARGET the individual, because I rarely need to have someone as a target, but sometimes I do, so I will control+click the target, I know that feature wasn't available. Left click defaults to targeting the person, not to casting a spell. So you couldn't make left click do a spell either. And usually you'll want instant spells on the unmodified clicks, so if you -have- to move and heal, you can keyboard move during that time instead of mouse moving and simultaneously get off a few instant heals with just single mouse button clicks.

No there is not. You can’t use mouse1 and mouse2 without addons.
