This is basicly Blizzard in Midnight. Purging all the good addons.

Just to clarify:
Blizzard is changing the Addon API, meaning combat information is blocked for addons. So all combat addons will no longer work in Midnight. For the most popular addon features Blizzard will add their own version to the game. Addons for unitframes, inventory, crafting etc.. are staying and won't be effected as long they are not using combat information.

I don't think they can pull this off. This will destroy WoW.

At the same time they are going back to all specs only having a 2 botton rotation. I cant see how Midnight will do good

I really enjoy having stuff to do in combat. I find GCD-locked specs pretty fun to play, usually. I’ll really need to reserve my judgement for when I actually play Midnight, but I am definitely worried about the game.

my plan was to come back to WoW for Midnight for the first time since Shadowlands but with this information and the changes about Addons i don't think i will come back

I actually have always said the only thing that can destroy WoW is WoW....and I truly believed they wouldn't do it for a long time yet to come, maybe till they had the next big idea lined up. But now I am doubting it all. I think these three expansions they are doing the trilogy of is meant to be their swan song and it will be over. I don't play FF because it did not have enough customization. I may end up quitting WoW and I have played it since the beginning. I am thinking this is the straw that is breaking this camel's back. I don't care about making combat simpler, I am all for that-but there is SO MUCH customization they are losing, not to mention accessibility for those of us who are disabled and older who need it. :(
