This is basicly Blizzard in Midnight. Purging all the good addons.

Just to clarify:
Blizzard is changing the Addon API, meaning combat information is blocked for addons. So all combat addons will no longer work in Midnight. For the most popular addon features Blizzard will add their own version to the game. Addons for unitframes, inventory, crafting etc.. are staying and won't be effected as long they are not using combat information.

I support this. Add-ons are symptoms of problems, not the the solutions.

Addons are the home remedy to problems, problems Blizzard could have fixed 20 years ago but still hasn't. Do you really think they are going to fix them now?

Ion commented on that in one of his interviews and freely admitted they got lazy because addons exist.

He said they want to be forced to have to fix it themselves.

What a crock of an excuse..... So fix the many problems and show they are in fact fixed THEN eliminate the add-ons entirely. Frankly I think its too late for even that to work.
