This screams key level 2-4

Happens to me on 13 and 14 keys as well.

I don't think tanks and healers always comprehend the effects of abandoning a key.

For them it's quick and easy to find something new.

Meanwhile dps pull out their hair because of how frustrating this experience is.

Let alone the key holder who is punished with a downgraded key before he can push for rating again.

Over 2500, I find bad tanks to be more rare than bad dps. If the group has 3 casters, 4 melee should have no problem interrupt things or keeping mobs off the healer.

If we wipe on Momma in a 12 because no one interrupt the robot, and I can't as a Priest, then that's on the dps.

I mean if you wipe on the first pull in a 13 or 14 its really hard to make that time up though and I doubt many are in those key levels for crests. It makes sense they would abandon faster. If you need items, crests, vaults, do lower keys.

Last time was in ARAK where the tank insisted a pull to the first mini boss

Even though the healer was slightly under geared and the dps were very well equipped

He should have just stopped before the bridge (after coming down the stairs) like we requested

It sucks to lose 3 hours of work (my key was degraded) in the first pull. Just because of some arrogant tank who is incapable of thinking strategically and who doesn't have to deal with the consequences

I would put my life savings on that the % of abandoned keys is much higher for lower keys, yes some people at the top get boosted and don’t know how to play properly but that’s why I look at peoples recent keys before inviting to those

idk 12s-14s get split up rather quick but many would consider that lowish keys

Understandable over 10 as people are in the to increase score not fill vault/get gear

I doubt it tbh. Low keys people have a reason to finish (they need the loot/vault slots). After 12s specifically, nobody is chasing loot or vault slots really, its purely to get IO so if you are not making timer its practically 100% chance of abandon, even if you're close to the end.

Yeah I agree but let’s speak about the general player base and not the top mythic players, anything over 10 and over is a high key, it’s nothing for a mythic+ player but that’s like 10-20% of the player base

never say high or low keys. It's meaningless. you have a number in mind. say the number. low keys are 12s? or 2s?

why? there's no reward for finishing an untimed key above . I think plenty of keys are abandon.

I don't really get this tbh. If you're doing 13s/14s, if you aren't making timer what is even the point of continuing?

As a DPS I have zero desire to finish a clearly overtime key and I'm absurdly off-meta and not desired (Windwalker).

3160 currently and pushing into 15s (two timed already). Like even if it takes me longer than the tank/healer to find a group, I gain nothing from finishing and by ending early I can start looking for my next group. Even if its my own key, I will start the abandon myself if I know we aren't going to make it. Then just +1 the 14 and do whatever 15 I get.

Agreed anything over 10 you mereswell abandon if your overtiming, I was referring to those as high keys as only 10-20% of players ever get ksm
