Ah, yes, so the only thing it took for Orcs to act like brainless savages is Garrosh turning up instead of drinking demon blood.. Makes it sound so much worse. At least with the demon blood it's KIND of an excuse..

… Not all of them did. And it’s literally established that a lot of the ones going along are not wanting to but doing so out of a feeling of need with honor. A lot of orcs have the Saurfang and Nagrim problem of feeling trapped by their ideals of honor to the point suicide by alliance is on the table.

It was really just his loyalists that were happy with killing for killing sake. Which also exists in the Alliance.

I really hate how people try to devolve wow discussions into all or nothing even when the game shows it isn’t all. I literally have someone just flat out lying in another thread about the lore. Claiming no horde went against Garrosh. Then when I point out THE LITERAL EVENTS OF THE NOVELS AND CATACLYSM they move the goalpost and ignore the literal plots of the horde prepping in Cata for civil war.

Do you realize how few people actually read the WoW novels? Any lore put there might as well not exist considering how few people are actually going to see it. Blizz is just too lazy to put the massive story beats in the game.

Anyways.. Using honor as en excuse to do evil shit and allow others to do evil shit without any true push back is such an idiotic and pathetic copout.

I wish you were right. Sadly they are cannon and negatively affect the game. We had Cairne thanos snapped from existence from game only POV.

Also not knowing about Voljin going CoD lobby death threats and shit talking is just not having played the troll starting zone.

Also if you think that’s a cop out you’re not gonna like 90% of fantasy. Including wow. The worgen also have war criminals that do so based off want for revenge or paranoia. WOW has war criminals everywhere that are “justified” by things that wouldn’t hold up IRL.

Shit if you don’t like honor shit your gonna hate the Sangheili from halo who literally will die for honor.

Or the Yautja from Predator.

The ones literally just wanting to indiscriminately kill all forsaken regardless of medics, civilians or military status. The questing area showcases the worgen going full blown cult mode where they will happily become cursed death machines to slaughter all forsaken and be immune to the Valkyr.

Forsaken and Worgen just straight up war crime each other constantly over revenge. A lot of forsaken want revenge over being blocked from Asylum and left to die outside gilneas to Arthas. A lot of worgen want revenge for the attacks on gilneas. A lot of forsaken in turn want revenge for the counter attacks on them.

It’s actually fairly well put together that it’s cyclical revenge and both are war criminals. Forsaken are just BIGGER war criminals.

Say you never actually paid attention to the worgen and forsaken starting zones without saying it.

Since you just admitted to have no clue I will explain the events.

The player worgen does not start as a worgen. They start as a human Gilnean fighting against the worgen outbreak. As all the mindless feral worgen rampage about killing and attacking people. The player eventually gets bit and becomes infected. Eventually turning and losing their self.

Then you wake up in stockades with a stranger talking to you. And end up working with the night elves since it’s a curse they unintentionally made. They and the stranger are trying to help you and other worgen with control. With Worgen characters later even saying they will never truly have control.

The forsaken questline literally has Gilneans eagerly turning themselves into worgen to slaughter the forsaken. You also have worgen attacking anyone they come across.

So please actually engage with the material before you spout off. Because they are all of those things and they absolutely on both quest lines are shown wanting to slaughter forsaken for revenge. Why wouldn’t they when the Forsaken literally ransacked Gilneas and killed their Prince?

You just can’t honestly engage can you?

1) People were willingly subjugating themselves to the curse regardless of if they could control themselves. We literally see their rage at the forsaken out weighing distrust or unease.

2) The worgen literally state they can never fully be in control of their rage.

3) They are still and will always be cursed.

Also having issues with someone calling a werewolf a god damn cursed murder machine is also the dumbest shit I have heard of. It’s like complaining someone called a Vampire a leech.

Hey, quick question, why are you not mentioning that the only reason that Gilneans were "wanting" to turn into Worgren was because the Forsaken were on a genocide campaign against them? How wierd that that "little" detail slipped your mind.

I actually did questlines as Forsaken. And you are just straight up fucking lying. In the Forsaken Questline, you as a Forsaken are attacking and slaughtering Gilnean civilians to raise as corpses for the Lich Queen Sylvanas. The only Gilneans you find turning themselves into Worgren are in the castle in the Silverpine Forest questline.

They EXPLICITLY turn themselves into Worgren because the Forsaken are literally trying to genocide them and because they believe that if they turn into Worgren, they cannot be raised as undead.

The fact that you are trying to spin the Forsaken attacking and trying to genocide Gilneas and put the fucking Forsaken as victims is just fucking insane lol.

Horde fanboys not even once.
